Cycle Route: Miracle Springs to Udon Thani, Thailand
We were sad to leave Miracle Springs and all of the wonderful people we met. We ate a delicious breakfast with everyone and hit the road at about 9:00am.

Distance
The total distance of our route was 66.68 miles (107.31 km).
Elevation
Max Elevation | 688.97 ft | 210 m |
Min Elevation | 488.85 ft | 149 m |
Total Climbing | 11,581.4 ft | 3,530 m |
Total Descent | 11,565 ft | 3525 m |
Terrain
This ride was fairly flat on good roads with wide shoulders. About 5 minutes into our ride it started to downpour, luckily it only lasted for 10 minutes or so. We didn’t notice many places to stop to eat or have coffee on the way to Udon Thani, everything seemed closed.
Accommodation
We stayed at Hotel Surada for 550 baht. It was a really clean hotel that had AC, hot water and good wi-fi. It was located off the main road, near restaurants, shops and the train station. Breakfast was included and was served at 7:00am.
Food
We ate breakfast at Miracle Springs before we hit the road. We stopped for lunch at a small restaurant off the side of the road. We had 2 plates of rice, 2 omelets, 1 coke and 2 coffees for 110 baht. For dinner we spotted a McDonalds and ate 2 meals for 265 baht.
Costs
One night at Hotel Surada and our meals cost us 925 baht. Altogether, we spent around $28.78 USD in Udon Thani.
