Terrain

This was a flat, boring ride along the 5. Road conditions were good, and we felt the traffic gave us plenty of clearance as we pedaled our way up north, so we never felt like we were in any danger.

Accommodation

We spent the night at the Silver Inn in Batu Pahat for 95 ringgit. The room was comfortable, though the beds were quite hard. We had AC and hot water, but the wi-fi did not work for us.

Food

None of the food we had during this ride was memorable. We stopped for soup on the way for 3.40 ringgit. We ate dinner at a pretty decent satay restaurant along sungai (river) Batu Pahat for 12 ringgit, then shamelessly managed to spend 22.60 ringgit on snacks at a nearby 7-Eleven.
